1st Place Scientific Paper Award given in 1996 at the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Specialists for the article on Limited Internal Fixation and Small Pin circular Hybrid External Fixators for the Treatment of complex high-energy tibial plateau fractures, published in The Orthopod      

Dr. Manoogian achieved the highest score on the orthopedic board exam (scored in the 99th percentile on written exam - ranked number one) and as a result was contacted by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery to serve on its test development committee. He spent six years on committee. He formulated questions for both the written and oral examinations for the A.O.B.O.S.  

Dr. Manoogian was selected as a five-star doctor by Health-Grades in 2011, a renowned independent health-care rating organization. To make the five-star doctor list, a physician must be affiliated with a hospital that is highly rated for quality of care by HealthGrades.  He must never had his license on probation, suspended, surrendered or revoked, be free of state or federal disciplinary actions; be free of any malpractice judgments, adverse arbitration awards or monetary settlements for the last five years, and be board certified in his practice specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists or the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Also, after having performed thousands of surgeries, his patients have enjoyed minimal complication rates.
